From Our Family to Yours

It seems appropriate as the world prepares for the Christmas holiday and the promise of a New Year to wish our septic and portable restroom customers the blessings of a happy holiday season.

C&L Sanitation, Inc. has been providing septic pumping services for over 50 years and portable restrooms for over 40 years.

Looking on the Bright Side

Just in case you wanted to know:  the shortest day of 2021 is soon to be upon us.  December 21, also known as the winter solstice, marks the official start of winter.   Before your thoughts turn to the “doom and gloom” of winter, look on the bright side!  Every day after is a little longer and before you know it, spring is just around the corner!

And if spring is “just around the corner,” then warm weather can’t be far behind!  It is time to plan next summer’s (a) backyard bash; (b) family reunion; or (c) block party or (d) all of the above!  The guest list can wait, and the menu can wait, but don’t wait to arrange for the portable restroom needs of your guests.

Stars in Your Eyes and Diamonds on your Finger!

Maybe you’ve been a little “dreamy-eyed” since he popped the question, but you’ve definitely decided on an outdoor wedding in 2022 (or maybe 2023)!  You’ve been so busy thinking of flowers, photographers, dresses, food, etc. that C&L Sanitation wants to remind you that it’s never too early to plan for the restroom needs of your wedding guests.

Thankful and Grateful

Here we are already at the end of autumn and the beginning of the holiday season at C&L Sanitation.  Our thoughts naturally turn to family, friends, and business associates as we reflect on our many blessings throughout the past year.  As a company which has operated in northwest Ohio for 40+ years, we are forever grateful for the loyalty of our customers and the opportunity to serve your portable restroom needs.

What’s on Your Autumn Maintenance Check (√) List?

Autumn is a busy time for homeowners.  As much as the cooler weather is a respite from the hot and humid days of July and August, it’s a sure sign that the cold and snow of winter is just around the corner!  So—we put away the patio furniture (√); clean up and store the lawnmower and yard tools (√); do a maintenance check on the furnace (√); and schedule the septic tank cleaning (√).

If the septic tank cleaning isn’t on your autumn check list, it probably should be!   C&L Sanitation has been pumping septic tanks in northwest Ohio for 50 years.

How Did THAT Get There?

If you saw a portable restroom on a barge in the Maumee River, would it just make you wonder? Hmm!  How did it get there?  And how does it get cleaned?  If it’s the familiar C&L Sanitation teal-colored restroom unit with the ever recognizable “C&L” proudly displayed on the side, it got there as a “sling unit”!  A “sling” is a type of clamp affixed to the top of the unit which allows the restroom to be carried to the truck for pumping.

Do Not Despair and “Get Out There”

Are you wondering where the summer went?  Did vacation and recreation plans change unexpectedly?  Do not despair—it’s not too late to “get out there” and enjoy some great autumn weather!

Northwest Ohio is home to some of the nicest parks, biking trails, orchards, nature preserves, and recreation areas in all of Ohio.

Labor Day—an “Unofficial” Good bye to Summer

It’s been a busy summer here at C&L Sanitation! After a year of COVID cancellations and lockdowns, our employees have been all over northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan providing portable restrooms, restroom trailers, sani-sinks, and shower trailers to county fairs, concerts, heritage festivals, family reunions, and competition events (golf, tractor pulls, biking, etc.

We Know a “Thing or Two” about Septic Tanks

C&L Sanitation, Inc. has been pumping septic tanks for 30+ years.  Our Northwest Ohio customers respect our expertise and guidance on the best practices for keeping their septic system healthy.

Here at C&L we call it our “Do’s” and “Don’t’s” List:

DON’T:  Put harmful materials into your septic tank—including grease and oil from cooking, coffee grounds, and food scraps.

Graduation Time! Did You Blink?
